What are some simple things I can do with a brick of cream cheese other than spreading it on bagels? I've got like half a brick of Philadelphia and no bread to put it on and I'm bored. Any suggestions?

eat it as it is

No. That's gross. Do people seriously do that?
>>
Put it on ur dick then lick it off lmao
>>
>>7151380
I don't have a dog.
>>
>>7151379
yes
>>
>>7151379
Yes...it's fucking delicious. I eat cream cheese by itself all the time

Also....fuckin spread ot on crackers, dip chips in it, dip pretzels in it
>>
>>7151384
>>7151385
Well shit, I'm sure it tastes fine. But man, it just seems like such a fat thing to do. I'ma make frosting with it. Then eat that on its own. That way I can at least pretend that I made dinner tonight.
>>
>>7151391
just lift or do cardio, problem solved.
>>
>>7151372
make a dip
make a filling for pasta
make icing
make a sauce
make soup
make cheese balls
make cheese crackers
make cheese sticks
go fuck yourself
>>
>>7151395
Thanks for the advice.

>>7151399
Thanks for the specific advice. What kind of soup involves cream cheese if you don't mind giving a little more detail? I am actually interested.
>>
>>7151401
None that I'm aware of traditionally, but tossing some into any cheese soup should be fine, same goes for any traditionally thick creamy soup.
>>
>>7151423
Okay. Sounds good enough to me, guess that's what I'm going to be doing then. Thanks man.
>>
>>7151372
buy red pepper jelly
mix jelly with room temp cream cheese (won't mix well otherwise)
chill
eat entire bag of chips with amazing dip
wonder what you've been doing with your life before discovering you can mix these two things
>>
>>7151401
some ideas

>>
>>7151433
Ah shit, I've had that sort of thing before and it's damn good. If I had the ingredients on hand, I would totally do that but the other guys soup idea just works out better for me given what I've got in my pantry.

>>7151436
Shit, thanks a bunch man.
>>
>>7151372
tiramisu
substitute the mascarpone w/ cream cheese
>>
>>7151449
Seriously? Is it actually good? I just can't imagine it.
>>
Wow! Nobody's mentioned using it to make Jalapeno Poppers or Crab Rangoons yet. What's this board coming to?
>>
>>7151460
its pretty good if you dont go overboard with the cream cheese and use coffee you would actually drink
>>7151465
crab rangoons are great too
>>
>>7151474
Huh. I might actually dare to try this someday then. Thanks.

>>7151465
Sounds good too.
>>
>>7151372
I stir a knob of it into my scrambled eggs to increase both fluffiness and creaminess.
>>
>>7151486
I think I've had that before at a friend's apartment. I think milk is adequate for fluffing them up. But hell, if there's any cream cheese left after this soup (doubtful) maybe I'll do that for breakfast in the morning.
>>
>>7151486
similar to creme fraiche? or a bit heavier

(i apologise for the 0 in blogspot, but apparently it looks like a spam link)

i made this once with some leftover cream cheese, and it was very light and pleasant
you'd need to serve it with some fruit or syrup or something tho, cos it's quite dry

or i just use cream cheese in place of cream when i'm cooking, cos it's heat stable

Why aren't you making stuffed jalapenos right now?
>>
>>7151521
That's interesting. I'd try it someday, thanks.

>>7151535
Because I don't have jalepenos on hand. And if I did, cream cheese wouldn't exactly be the first thing I'd think to stuff them with. :^)
>>
lube replacement :^)
>>

Yum.
