first time I had pizza with anchovies and green olives and it was way too salty but yeah it's a nice pleasant tuna/fishy taste

Because they are the saltiest food known to man. I like salt just like everyone else but not things so incredibly salty that they drown out other flavours.

I think a lot of people are put off by the texture because they kind of feel hairy. I love them though. You could always order a hal/half or simply an individual pizza for yourself. Also try being less of a conformist.

I'm a full-blown saltaholic, so I love anchovies. They sure beat the hell out of those greasy circles of heartburn we call pepperoni. Sliced meatballs are the real best pizza topping, though.

It's not hard to see why people wouldn't like anchovies, though. They're basically solid salt with the texture of a hair ball.

it's because the oil from the anchovies shits up the entire pizza making it taste like salty fish. so even if you only order it on half the pizza, the whole pizza tastes like it. that's why people hate you.

i occasionally like them, just in a tin so I can eat it on individual slices

Why are digital thermometer reviews so inconsistent?

I just want to be able to probe my turkey while i cook it but the accuracy of these things seems to be all over the place..

Anyone had any experience with these? Care to reccomend anything, i am by no means a professional.

Oh man I could never eat whole anchovie fillets on a pizza. I always mince them super small and mix them with the sauce.

I do anchovies once or twice a year. Definitely not something I get often, but once in a while you just gotta have that briney, fishy taste on a pizza. It's nice.
