Put your mind at ease. That pic was fake and gay. I've experimented with cooking with blood, and can assure you that when you do, it doesn't turn things pink. It turns more of a brown, think the color of cooked hamburger. If you think about how blood stains in fabric are also this color, it makes sense.

Also, if you haven't got a great baking tray, use grease proof/parchment paper or aluminum foil and grease it before putting cookies on top.

true story once I was working in a restaurant and the garde messed up the cookies like pic related, but it was too close to service to fix them or make a new batch(first tables had already arrived), and in a stroke of genius I used a large ringmold to cut out the cookies, worked breddy well, we garnished our ice cream just fine that day.
