There is a Walmart near me that uses sunlight during the day. Like 1/2 of the roof (in checkered fashion) is transparent sunroof. I didn't notice until one cloudy day, when everything around me was gradually becoming darker and lighter as the clouds passed. I was sober but I thought I was tripping the fuck out hard. Even started to panic until I looked up and saw the ceiling.

Compared to Canadian grocery stories ALL of these pics are pretty much heaven on earth.

Our selection is pretty much limited to a max of 5 items per product category.

And like 8/10 of the time I'd prefer to go to Aldi.

Yet I still have to go to the asian and spanish grocery stores for nearly all ingredients that aren't in European dishes. The few that the regular stores have are always 2 and 3x more.

I'm live in farm country and Walmart's produce is literally trash. It's whatever is left of the crop that the other distributors don't want. They're a real pain in the ass to work with as well their trucks are like never ever on fucking time and we'll have shit just wasting away in the lot waiting for pickup.

We actually don't have any Sobey's here in Vancouver. But there's a good mix of places like Whole Foods, Save-on-Foods, Asian markets like H-mart and T&T and Superstores.

Kroger shopper here. They were forced to diversify because Whole Foods is getting more and more widespread. They'd go out of business otherwise.

I still love Kroger's though. They're willing to try new things and that's pretty bold for a huge chain like that.

This damn olive bar at Wegmans eats up at least 20 minutes everytime I go there. 15 minutes to quickly sample, then another 5 to stop for a few craft samples on the way out to wash it down. Thanks Obama.
