Was gonna eat my daily 6 eggs when the last one was full of blood

did it smell bad? happened to me once and it sure smelled bad.

I had an egg with a little blood in it once but there was no chick inside. The chicken would have had to have been inseminated by a rooster for the egg to have a dead chick inside. Roosters aren't kept around the chickens.
