I wanted to hate cincinatti chili but after having it i can't. It's the bees knees as the kids say.

It's pretty good. My mum makes it and I just ate too much and got sick of it quickly. Maybe I'll make it again.

Was in Cincinnati for business last year, tried that chili on noodles thing, wasn't too bad, wasn't as good as the hype surrounding it said it would be either.

Regional American cuisine is always interesting, this is just a flop imo.

Not that guy, but I'm in upstate NY. A buddy of mine got me hooked when he made a huge pot for out D&D group like, 7-8 years ago. From what I gathered, he was originally from the area, and since none of the rest of us went that way on a regular basis, made some for us.

At this point, I've been out that way a few times, usually for conventions, and I've grabbed a can or two to compare to his recipe.

It's definitely different from what I grew up knowing as chili, and people always give me funny looks when I tell them I've used chocolate and cinnamon in the chili they're eating.
