So the night before, take a shower, let your hair halfway dry (or just spray your hair til lightly damp). Then plan how your going to section off your hair. I went for 12 sections; split hair into 4 regions, then those each into three vertical length sections.
With a curling iron, curl one section with hot heat with the iron facing vertical parallel to the head. Immediately after, curl the hair with a foam roller >pic related< in the same way you used the curling iron. Repeat with all sections.
Remember to change the rotation of the iron, you don't want all the curls going in the same direction 'cause they'll eventually clump together if you do.
Then wrap your head with a scarf and sleep on them. I only slept about 4 hours in them to achieve that look.
Slowly take them out and then immediately spray the crap out of them. Do not brush them! done.
