Convention news
>Bats and Bones (Halloween edition of DCC) has started sellig tickets, starting at €15 a day.
>DCC also announced a Christmas edition in Maastricht, but info is sparse.
>Vidcon 2017 (a YouTube convention by John Green) will be held in Amsterdam next year.
>Terra Con has been postponed as combining reptiles and rodents with cosplay was not a good idea.

Next five /cgl/ related events:
>Castlefest (August 5th - 7th, Lisse ZH) is an outdoor medieval/fantasy convention. Tickets start at €22,95.
>Tropicon (August 13th, Duisberg, Germany) is a pool/beach cosplay party located at a 30 minute drive from Venlo (LB). Tickets are €5 and can be purchased at the door.
>Abunai! (August 26th - 28th, Veldhoven NB) is the other big anime convention. Hotel rooms are all long gone and day tickets are running low so buy yours while you still can.
>Amsterdam Comic Con (August 27th & 28th, Amsterdam NH) is a comic fair very similar to DCC, except this one is hosted by Showmasters. Tickets start at €15 a day.
>Elf Fantasy Fair (September 24rd & 25th, Arcen LB) is another outdoor fantasy fair. Tickets range from €18,50 to €33,50.
The full and more detailed convention agenda can be found in the pastebin: http://pastebin.com/QaZ23aUA and as always, if I missed anything feel free to post it so I can add it to the pastebin.

Sadly won't be able to go to tropicon, but will attend tomoparty the week after... Kinda too bad
>>
>>9105985
Or not, at least one you can get drunk and take the train back home. Such a shame I can't swim, kinda defeats the purpose of going to a beach party.
>>
>>9105991
Most wont even go into the water though, also just going in for a bit and just not too far is an option, right?
>>
>>9105991
Are you even dutch.
>>
>>9106132
Yes, and to make matters worse I lived on a channel in Amsterdam for most my life and had a paper route which involved multiple "woonboten" with slippery stairs every winter. The problem is that I panic the moment I can't feel any ground underneath, something no amount of swimming lessons can fix.
Then again I also didn't learned how to ride a bike until I was 18 and moved to a small city without proper public transport. Growing up inside the city centre with everything you need nearby does that to you.
>>
>>9106144
lived in Den Haag, learned to ride a bike when I was 7? which was late and started swimming when I was 6, which is also "late". just really depends on what your parents want for you I suppose
>>
>>9106149
Well in my parents defence, they got divorced before I was born. I didn't had any contact with my dad (for a good reason I might add), and my mom worked overtime to take care of me and my older sister leaving her with very little spare time. If anything it's a wonder I turned out alright to begin with.
>>
>>9105947

The Asian Sona "Julia cosplayer" by any chance?

Or a Dutch Sona cosplayer? If so, what skin?
>>
>>9106162

I might go because I live in Nijmegen anyway

> kinda defeats the purpose of going to a beach party.
>>
>>9106330
What if I told you I live in Oss? All TomoShit events are either a 15 minute bike or a 20 minute train ride away from home. Plus I have both a NS Weekend Vrij and OV Fiets subscription, meaning I only have to pay the €5 entree fee anyway.
>>
>>9106330
>>9106384
>>9105991

By this I assume TomoWhatever isn't something that's worth a 1h train ride + probably another 1h bus ride across the border?
>>
>>9106515
TomoShit has a terrible track record and was even voted as the worst Dutch convention during the Dutch thread survey. The only real upside to TomoShit is that their prices are so low that it justifies the low quality, which is great if you happen live nearby and feel like killing a few hours.
As for TomoParty in specific, it might be fun if you like to dance. They brought in Deshima Sounds to provide the music, which combined with alcohol and/or other substances is a recipe for a great time. The only downside is that it ends so early. I mean 22:30, seriously? That's usually when things start to get exciting dammit!
>>
>>9106585
Have you ever been to a festival? They end at 23:00
>>
>>9106904
I asume you mean music festivals? because A lot end after midnight, atleast the ones I went to. But besides that, the party mostly ends around 5 when the camping is getting somewhat quiet hehe... now that I'm typing this, tomoparty shouldve provided some kind of camping space
>>
>>9106910
Well the festivals I've gone through may go on on the campsite, but the main festival terrain closes at 23:00 due to sound restrictions. Especially one-day festivals. But ok, they start at 10 or 11 with the party itself. Probably not what TomoShit does.

>what if that poster is german

I am and Nijmegen isn't that far away from where I live. It's just the shitty connection that takes so much time thanks to the railway line Kleve - Nijmegen being out of service for more than 2 decades and no commuter service between Emmerich and Arnhem until 2017.

Tropicon is around the corner, but my stuff won't arrive until then. That's why I was curious, if Tomo might be worth the ride for a little cosplay fun for an afternoon. But if it's only bearable as a drink and rave party, I will pass though and wait until Yukon in Winter or next Dokomi in Spring.

I don't find it any different than game publishers hiring cosplayers to attend major gaming conventions. If anything it introduces more people to cosplay without it being at "one of those freakshows", which is always a good thing in my opinion.
>>
>>9108712
Free/cheap entertainment for their guests, smart move.

Getting a picture with a movie poster or with a embodied character from the spoof, what sounds better. Pretty much the standard thing to do on social media to announce your presence on a premiere.

Gyaru was always in line with mainstream fashion (unlike Harajuku styles such as lolita), especially a style like onee gyaru. But obviously you're not gyaru if you don't have the hair and make-up. Which every picture has (yes also the make-up if you actually pay attention to the faces). Here's an example of a close-up.

There are obviously more extreme styles, but I guess it goes without speaking that the most popular gyaru styles are indeed the ones that are based on what's mainstream.

There are plenty of girls 'with color' that get photographed.

BTW
POC = People Of Colour (basicly another way of saying look at me I am special).

>>9109635

How would Pedro be a reliable source for your argument. That guys creates drama everywhere he goes. If I were a photographer, I would't want to shoot with him either. Who knows what he says about you behind your back, or on his facebook
>>
Color = black?

Because pink or pale is a color as well, Yellow for the Asians as well.
They get photographed plenty. Also black people, InuNeko for example.
>>
I think if Pedro wanted to shoot with someone, he would have the integrity to ask someone in person or pm them on facebook.

who the fuck cares what he talks about people on facebook? like wow, someone is talking about someone else. End of the world. End of someone's photography career.

move on, there are more interesting and important things in life then caring about what other people say 24/7 behind someone's back

How is this girl 'keeping it real'. She is asking why they keep getting rejected by photographers and pushed out of groupshots, to a random photographer she never shoot with before?! How the hel would he know.
If she really wanted to know, she should asks those photographers when it is happening and call them out for it. Not act all though afterwards towards random people.

I really do not give a fuck about colour, but Ximena is just an annoying. The moment she eneters a discussion, she will cry rascism, even if the topic is about the smell of flowers. No wonder people would not like to shoot with her. Besides, she is a mediocre cosplayer at best. So, why the fuck would a photographer shoot with someone with a character like that.

Pedro, another attention crybaby. More and more people disliked his drama ass already, and that animecon video, which got him banned, was the limit for me. Another person this community could do without.
>>
>>9109969
>and that animecon video, which got him banned, was the limit for me.

>>
>>9109976
The rant was a livefeed with mild threats as well, and talking bad about people on the spot. I have the information from close to the source so I have no doubt it is true. And I cannot disagree at all.

Well there are plenty of POC that get shoots, especially if you take in account that East/Southeast-Asians are POC too. shame
>>
So yaya han will be judging at FACTS this october! From local cosplayers one year, to at least one big cosplayer this year, pretty awesome
>>
>>9110585
He and his issues aren't ban-worthy at all.. Sure he has a big mouth, but that's it. It's not a big deal. I rather see conventions ban the creeps that are an actual threat to other visitors on or around convention ground.
>>
>>9109476
>vmbo kader allochtoon
Like vmbo kader autochtonen aren't bad?! Those people can be tokkie as fuck, and they pretty much team up with the vmbo kader allochtonen to be one big nuisance. Asian allochtonen are pretty much ones that seem to never cause any trouble in 'hangjongeren' groups (apart from Molukkers maybe).
>>
>>911060
Seen her at animecon, well all I saw was big tits and ego.
>>
I dunno if other people noticed but usually most hot cosplayers look mediocre at best without makeup and costume. Not hatin' I'm using my tits to distract people from my face myself.
>>
>>9110658
looking at some of the tutorials aimed at females makes you realize how everything can be faked
>>
>>9110655
well she's going to judge, I think her craftsmanship is pretty darn good so I'd love to get some tips. also I've heard a lot of different opnions about yaya, so I'm not too sure which to believe?
>>
>>9110658
As a guy it's pretty hard NOT to notice it when you have a pair of big breasts almost popping out of a costume. But like I've always said, if you've got a good body you might as well use it. But just so you know, your breasts (and ass) may draw the initial attention, but after that it's all about the face.

So girls of /cgl/, what's the first thing you look at when you see a male cosplayer?
>>
>>9110678
the same as female cosplayers -> how does your cosplay look? is it nice? then i start looking at their face, nothing more.
>>
>>9110678
From first to last:
>construction
>hair/wig
>face
>body shape
If their costume looks good and they have a decent wig (or real hair that genuinely suits the character) then I'll ask them for a picture, even if their face is not attractive or their body doesn't suit the costume. If they're hot but have a shit costume and no/cheap wig I won't take their picture. If I wanted to photograph hot guys in ugly outfits I'd just go into the city's shopping district, not a convention.
Only exception to the "I don't care much about their body" rule is if there is skin showing and fat rolls or ribs protruding, because ain't nobody want to see that.
>>
>>9110672
I was unimpressed by her. She judged my costume and rode the lift with me on the Sunday morning. She couldn't stop touching my costume, but I felt far from being taken seriously. I mean, I'm Smaug the dragon, being treated like the cutest of little kittens. It could've been worse, but you just feel like you're not taken seriously in any way.

I personally found Kamui much more of a pleasant person to deal with in the judging room. There was another guy whom I don't know.

To me, Yaya is nothing special, but is just very good at sewing, which I am not, but can definitely respect. So be it. But I don't get the hooplah.
>>
>>9110678
If the costume is good in it's completeness and looks like a 'whole' suit rather than 'pieces of costume slapped together'. I like seeing the harmony and unity of good cosplays. I also enjoy and appreciate tiny little details that don't detract from the costume as a whole, but do make it look a little bit more interesting.

And this one goes for everyone; Weathering. That's my all-time favourite thing of cosplay. Costumes that look real, used, dirty and worn. When the illusion of 'it's a costume' falls away and think you're actually on some kind of movieset.

That's what I look for.
>>
>>9110710
>And this one goes for everyone; Weathering.
I actually enjoy weathering more than anything else that is involved with making a armour or prop. There is something soothing about purposely damaging all your hard work to a certain degree. Scratching it with a wood file, hammering some dents in, dragging it down a brick wall as if you were pinned down once, dirtying it up and texturing it with severely watered down black acrylics mixed with ground pepper, dry brushing exposed metal, or adding rust by mixing crimson red and brown paint mixed with more ground pepper...
I can't wait to get to that point of creating a costume again!
>>
>>9110706
sewing is my thing haha, but I'll guess I'll see what will happen. Might be a way to get people to relax a bit and not stress out, as long as I don't get bitchy stares as if I'm not good enough, I'm content.
>>
>>9110718
never, ever, had to weather anything. I'm not really an armor wearer, I really sew a lot of costumes, but never of something that needs to look like it has battle damage or something like that, only airbrushing for more shadow and depth of the props/accesories. Now THAT i really find important, flat looking props, accesories or armor (whatever you're making) just looks weird.

personally, I find that non-weathered, non-airbrushed, sown costumes look flat 9 out of 10 times, unless they need to look pristine. But especially a lot of anime clothes, like Naruto, Avatar and Dragonball look a little too flat for my taste. Heavier fabrics, a bit of airbrushing, dirt, and some 'ageing' goes a long way into making it more believable and 'real'. But that's just my opinion.
>>
>>9110934
let's just say that when you wear your own clothes you dont go over it with airbrush, haha. I wash my costumes after every convention, so that won't even be an option, it also really depends on what fabrics you use, because a good fabric looks so much better than your average texturé, to give an example.
>>
>>9110969
Agreed, there is no point in airbrushing a casual Katara cosplay.
>>
>>9110969
No, but freshly sown costumes look a tad too new. Normal clothes start to look worn after a few washes. I can tell you that my black trousers definitely have brown-ish/red-ish 'sunspots' on the thighs from frequent wear. That's what I mean. If you wash them after every convention, you get the same effect soon enough anyway.
>>
>>9110706
Kamui made a book on painting while she doesnt even paint her own armors?
>>
>>9110876
Really? I find it a nuisance, to be honest.
>>
>>9111101

Her boyfriend paints the majority of her projects. Also the main source of information for her book.
Only thing different here is that it has the Kamui stamp on it. Which makes it more desirable and thus provides more money through purchases.
>>
>>9111101
>>9111155
Yeah. what >>9111155 said. Benni paints most of it, but Kamui herself paints some stuff herself. In the beginning she did most of it herself I thought. But now she cranks out 6 costumes a year (though not anymore it seems), spreading the work between her boyfriend and herself just seems a clever move. I do everything solo.
>>

No disrespect for the skills, but cosplay is more challenging, as you need to make a copy and if it is wrong, it is wrong. OC's don't have that problem.
>>
>>9112975
I do like it when people come up with beautiful, intricate designs but the people throwing on some schoolgirl outfit and thinking they're hot shit are just annoying.
>>
>>9112444
I especially find it cringey when a couple cosplay two characters that have little to no interaction in the source material, but they cosplay the characters so suddenly it's a ship and of course they have always shipped it! suuure

>>

I have 2 OC's if you could call it that. Basically they are more fantasy based. I think some things are really nice, people can really show their creativity and own design, which I love, especially at events like Elfia. OC's based off anime's on teh other hand.... I find those kind of cringy,

I'm going to abunai but won't be wearing any anime cosplays. Only actual japanese thing I'l cosplay is from a game that is made in japan. ironic kinda
>>
>>9117325
I'm considering visiting Abunai for a day for the first time in four years, just to see if it has become enjoyable again. The only problem I'm facing however is convincing anyone from my con-group to give Abunai another chance.
As for a cosplay, I was thinking about doing a casual Bolin as it fits my green eyes and dark hair.
>>
>>9117380

I'm not sure if you know what ironic means....

>>
>>9117714
Lol why does it trigger you?

It just causes me to giggle. Casual Bolin will probably end up with wearing a green sweather or shirt and a black wig or natural black hair. Hey if they think it is a satisfying cosplay, good for them.
Won't impress me much, but I am guessing if they are opting for casual Avatar cosplay, they never intended to impress me at all.
>>

You aware that I'm referring to the Casual Katara from a few threads ago, right?

>>9117956
the funny thing about casual avatar is... the timeset they are put in. If they were to dress casual it woulf be either very old and traditional or steam punk 1930's ish. These people are really cosplaying futuristic characters for both avatar series.

Really stupid question but does anyone know if the Koningshof has showers you can use when you don't have a hotelroom? (like a sport/swimming facility??)
My cosplay involves bodypaint and I don't want to be purple at deshima.
>>
>>9118066
you can always ask people if you can use their room/shower if it's that bad.
>>
>>9118077
I don't want to be a bother to my friends that were lucky enough to get a hotel room
>>
>>9118079
i completely understand.
>>
>>9118057
Don't go outside. Or on the internet. Or live for that matter.
>>
>>9118057
It depends on who you are trying to avoid, if they are part of your (inner) social group, and why. But one thing you can always do is letting one or two close (con-)friends know you are trying to avoid someone. That way you'll at least have someone to watch your back and support you when necessary.

>>9118066
I vaguely recall there being a pool at the NH Koningshof, but was only accessible to those who actually stay at the hotel. Just don't quote me on this as it's been forever since I've last been there.

>>9118079
Just ask them anyway. You can't really call it "bothering" when all they have to do is hand you one of their two precious key cards along with their room number. Even spending five minutes helping you take off a costume shouldn't be too much to ask from a friend. If it is however, not being able to shower should be the least of your concerns as you have terrible friends.
>>
>>9118066
send abunai a mail asking if it's possible? The sports center definately has showers. They're using the space for events this year so you'd think they'd allow people to shower after those.

who you going to cosplay tho?
>>
>>9118079
If my friend were to ask, I'd say yes. I know how hard bodypaint is to take off with makeup whipes. really just atleast ask your friends. And if they say yes, just make sure you leave the shower clean, but I think that speaks for itself (although some people can really leave a mess....)
>>
>>9118130
>>9118467
I'll try ask around if I could use someones hotelroom. I'm just usually a bit shy when it comes to asking favors so I tend to avoid that.

That's why I prefer to leave weekend conventions early on Sunday. As an introvert I simply don't have the energy to deal with bullshit group drama after being social for three days straight.

>>
>>9120296
I'm more curious to see how they'll handle the competition from DCC. Sure, those into anime will probably go to Abunai, but a lot of the people/groups who are into a broader scale of things now have a choice.
A quick look at the list of dealers also shows there will be more "small time" dealers and stands from other cons. Also who the fuck is in charge of the Abunai website? Almost every link on that list is broken because they entered it incorrectly, bloody amateur.

>>
>>9120338
This is my first year competing in the cosplay competition. Any things to be afraid of?
>>
>>9120608
Everything. Here is a summary of what went wrong last year.

> Abunai asked people to send them refs and progress pics but forgot to print them/ give them to judges
> People missed their prejudging because of the line outside and autistic gophers wouldn't let them in earlier
> A delay of more than an hour because Abunai had no clue what they were doing
> Meanwhile they literaly forgot to tell the people of the masquerade that they could practice
>Deshima music made everyone lose their shit
> They didn't have a order who would go on stage so everyone was unprepared
> Never trust a gopher with big costumes, a girl got her wings damaged by that and they broke on stage
> While waiting for over an hour in the heat backstage a gopher told us to chill because at least this year they got water and food ( Which makes me feel really sorry for the year before)

Just brace yourself for the worst and never trust abunai. They got irritated when I mailed them about that I want to bring my own folder of progress pics but I really dont trust them.
>>
>>9120624
Shit now I don't want to compete anymore. Especially because I'll have kind of big wings too and I don't want anything to happen with them. Also waiting for an hour is the heat is terrible.
Are there any good things about the competition?
>>
>>9120636
Just make sure they actually hold the curtain open for you this is how Godoka met her terrible fate.

I'm more spooked about them screwing with peoples audio/video. It would be my worst nightmare if I would be on stage and someone elses act starts playing
>>
>>9120653
this is why I always check backstage if they got the right files. I always ask them about it and I also tell them if my audio is pretty silent they need to put the volume up etc. Backstage they can change things to the last second, really.
>>
>>9120624
>They got irritated when I mailed them about that I want to bring my own folder of progress pics but I really dont trust them.
That's not saying much considering they already get irritated when we talk about them on /cgl/. Still, just bring your own folder. That way you'll have at least covered yourself from any Abunaaistreek they might pull this year.

>>9120636
I've got no idea how hot it gets backstage, but it can get quite hot in the Koningshof, especially during sunny days. If anything you could always keep your wrists wet, or bring one of those electric pocket fans with you to stay cool. Xenos, Big Bazar and the Action often have them for one or two bucks.

>>9120653
>It would be my worst nightmare if I would be on stage and someone elses act starts playing
At least that can be fixed. I would be more afraid of something going wrong on their side halfway through an act.
>>
>>9120653

>>
>>9120682
>Don't hotels usually have good airco?
Have you ever been to the Koningshof? It was originally build as a monastery in the fifties with several expansions being added later on. The place mostly consists out of long hallways with a flat roof, which as you can imagine heats up like crazy in full sunlight, especially as they haven't put any grass on the roof (grass keeps flat roofs cool as fuck).
Combine that with 4900 visitors last year and you can see why we've been joking about sweaty hallways all this time.

Because it's about girls that are wearing Japanese fashion with a thick layer of make-up (including circle lenses and falsies). In Japan it's also about having dyed hair, but a lot of White girls already have those hair colors naturally (browns and blondes that is). So these sort of girls can kinda get away with it. And tanning used to be important too, until someone decided that pale gyaru also look cute. See this picture, now that's gyaru. You can tell by the dyed hair, tan, and make-up, more so than the clothes.

I was kind of surprised that Chris is supposedly claiming to have social-anxiety, as she's a pretty assertive/bold/social person. She's not any where near shy or the type that waits for people/things to come to her. Then again, I don't think young people understand what social anxiety means, and that at worst, it causes people to end up as a hikikomori. On the bright side, good job Pokemon GO, to at least make these people come outside again.
>>
>>9121415
>I don't think young people understand what social anxiety means
They don't care. To them it's the same as "having" a gluten allergy, or "having" autism or even bipolar disorder; a way to feel special and gain attention. If anything the only condition they really have is Munchausen syndrome for faking these conditions for attention in the first place. Personally I can't stand them as they give those who actually have it a bad name.

Giving people compliments and instead of a thank you and maybe a SMILE (?!) they look at you with full disgust as if you just insulted them and are covered in shit...
>>
>>9121415
But if she claims to have social anxiety, that means nobody can ever criticise her behaviour and she has an excuse for acting like a rude bitch without the stigma of having aspergers or something like that!
It's like people nowadays think that if you've ever felt the slightest bit of discomfort in a social situation (like after you've falsely accused someone of rape and are called out on it) that means you have social anxiety. Fuck off.
>>
>>9121634
>nice tits
Why isn't she smilling and thanking me?!
>>
>>9121669
Best compliment ever, right?

But about the costume, ofcourse, not douchebag comments
>>
>>9121509
>or just plain bitches within the dutch community
I have stories, but how to tell them while staying anon.. Anyway some people in this community are huge hypocrites, and the worst one I know isn't even a gossip girl, but a grown up guy.
>>
>>9121796
I know a guy like that too! We might be talking about the same person.
The guy is a lot of fun to be around to but he talk about everyone behind their backs. Nobody is safe, not even his good friends.
>>
>>9121669
I know I would
>>
>>9121839
watch out, too much selfconfidents may lead to be called a slut for no fuckin reason
>>
Just drop some names, how can I enjoy drama when I have no clue who we're talking about?
>>
>>9121870
but then cosplaynl will be in flames (again)
>>
>>9121800
It would have been fun if we would, but I think I'm actually talking about someone else.

>>9121870
Trust me, I'm tempted. I feel like Kim Kardashian in the pre-release of the Taylor Swift snap chats here. This person would be finished if I would spread around what he did, lol.

So it seems I'm out of the loop, who is the Alice person who is banned? What did she do?
>>
>>9122037
I do not know a lot about her. The only drama I know about is that she let a lolita stay at her place for Animecon. Then on Saturday freaked out, because they where running late(?) and kicked her out of her house.

Very curious too, but she was here some weeks ago after animecon where she was too late for the fashion show because of another girl she was with (who she friend-dumped I think?), but wow stalking and threatening I never expected that, her being quite new to the comm and all. Maybe she can tell us ourselves? I think I also knew people who were friends with her before but then suddenly not anymore, those persons dropped hints about 'someone they did not want to see anymore'.

Alice's attempt at damage control
>>
Some people should have a person beside them to tell them NO when they are about to post shit on the internet
>>
>>9122057
>threatens and stalks people
>looks for sexual contact within comm
Sounds really fucking familiar, doesn't it? Maybe if we stopped allowing trannies into the comm we wouldn't have to deal with so many of these types.
>>
>>9122493
Every other tansgender person in the comm is fine and they act decent. Alice has a heap of mental issues that are unrelated to her gender identity.
>>
>>9122446
>extreme forms of autism
laughed then cried because of how dumb/insensitive this is
>>
>>9122520
Especially coming from her.
>>
>>9122517
And the other problem case wasn't trans either but a crossdresser.
>>
>>9122446
>beyond believe
>basically liking your own post by posting that picture
The autism doesn't fall far from the tree after all
>>
>>9122493
Belgian tranny here.
I swear I act decentz please don't generalise :c
>>
I'm so done with all the whiteknights and 13-year olds at cosplayNL.
They keep on crying about how mean the cosplay community is while the biggest problem is people like them getting their feelings hurt by the most stupid simple things
>>
>>9122493
Tranny here. The trans community doesn't want Alice either, we've had drama with her too.
>>
>>9122562
any details you can share? I'm kind of curious now.
>>
>>9121841
I have no self confidence so anything that boosts my ego is welcome. I'm also fine with people calling me a slut, because I'm a massive virgin.
>>
Funny how girls like R were super bff5eva with Alice a few weeks ago and now they're suddenly acting like they hardly knew her. The harder these chicks try to be e-famous, the more two-faced they are.

Maybe Chris from the gyaru comm and Alice should get together. They have a lot in common.
>>
She also manipulates people emotionally. To the point of getting strangers to buy her things. She always plays the victum of her own drama. Because she's very good at twisting the truth.

She's paranoid, and incapable of rational thinking. You're either with her. And if you don't agree with everything she does and says 100% of the time, you're against her.

She even thinks she was discriminated against, because of her identity (the Dutch lolita comm has always been very pro-trans). Because people we're being distant towards her. Or as she puts it "snobby". She's doesn't understand that her personality is very abrasive. And that not everyone is going to like her.
>>
All I see is that he/she/it has terrible hair, learn to use a wig
>>
Remember how 10 years ago Stefanie Joosten used to go to Dutch anime conventions too? I think it's safe to say that from the people that were part of the Dutch comm, she's the one that's the most famous and successful now. Which is funny because she was always pretty low key (though obviously beautiful). Anyway, I think she's pretty inspiring, and it would be fun to see more people in the comm become a celebrity like that. With the same mature and drama-free image like she has, of course.
>>
>>9122602
I don't reckon anyone with a name starting with an R being close to her though..
>>
met alice on a teaparty a few months ago, didn't really figure she would be that bad. guess I was wrong.

when I saw the post I thought it was about that other autistic girl who asked too many questions and made lame meetings.
>>
Nah, apart from her being very naïve... she's pretty harmless. She did bring a creeper to a meet up once. But I think it was more him taking advantage of her. We dealt with him soon enough, and never saw his face again.
>>
>>9122583
An ex threatened or stalked her or something and she went to the police then made a whole shitshow because they asked if she was trans. I don't know much else.

>>9122446
Oh wow....
I'm just going to leave this her and hope she'll see the hypocrisy of that post.
>>
>>9122673 In the Dutch community on facebook a girl is looking for people that were bothered, harmed or attacked by alice to go to the police. I don't think the people on cgl were very close to Alice, but if she did anything to you you should let this girl know to build a case; or you should contact the moderators. I think we can assume the girl wanting to go to the police is the girl Alice threatened? I wonder what she did, and I hope the girl is alright.
>>
>>9122641
Same, I thought she was fine but just a bit loud and annoying. There were several other people who I would've expected to be more the type to stalk/threaten others so I actually had to check who was who again. The only drama I ever noticed with Alice was when someone on /cgl/ said she looked bad at a fashion show and she showed up to defend herself, which ended with her calling women overly catty and dramatic. That just reinforces my belief that the more someone cries about drama, the more likely they are to be an instigator.
>>
>>9122684
I've noticed that if people chatted with her at meets or tea-party's she tried to stick to them like butter.

I had a short conversation with her during the last ST-TP while waiting for the restroom and she came over to me during that same meet several times, talking to me, hugging me, etc.

After the meet she tried to chat with me on fb several times, at some point she send me a fb chat-request and then acted as if she didn't send it?

I decided to keep my distance, mostly because she has a completely different personality than me. I'm glad I kept my distance.
>>
>>9122690
Maybe that's why I thought she was perfectly normal and well liked, since to me she seemed to be good friends with multiple people. It's weird and kinda creepy to think that it was all one-sided.
>>
>>9122673
>I've got PTSD, so I cant help it desu
Sure, and I've totally got autism which also only bothers me when I need to get out of trouble. Seriously, what it is with people using labels as an excuse these days? Even if you legitimately have one, it doesn't mean you aren't responsible for your own fucking actions. Fucking snowflakes...
>>
>>9122589
It's a joke, hon
>>
Read her "damage control" post. And my first thought was... Oh look, she's talking about herself again.
>>
>>9122446
What sexual predators and sociopaths is she talking about?
>>
>>9122789
Probably the ones living inside her head.
>>
>>9122789
I was wondering about that too! But maybe because she is mtf, she just wanted to pull that card.
>>
>>9122803
lol probably
that's not the comm's fault tho

>>9122804
All those nasty lolita's trying to get into her bloomers, yeah that totally happened
>>
>>9122805
Kek
>>
>>9122711
perfect example for how she's playing the victim again and tries to manipulate everyone into tolerating her behaviour.
>>
It is always wonderful to see all the backstabbing dutch lolita's show up on a thread to talk behind someone's back instead of anyone daring to confront this girl.

No wonder she accused people of having extreme forms of autism..
>>
>>9123123
Too bad for her it isn't really effective on insensitive assholes like me. Life's a bitch, and so am I.
>>
>>9123130
not really behind someone's back when everyone can read it
also >>>/facebook/
>>
>>9123133
Trash talking and lying about people behind their back isn't going to get her attention. Perhaps you should confront her yourself.
>>
From what I heard, she just used a bunch of people like toilet paper and the autistic dutch lolita community is perfect for that. Understandably people are upset, unlikely she's going to care about anyone talking about her. She's already used them up.
>>
>>9122806
Actually a certain lolita who is a feeder wanted to feed her for their combined sexual pleasure. Then the certain lolita wanted to have sex and she didn't want to.

This and a certain other lolita desperately exposed herself to her in hope her virginity would be taken.

Both have autism. Hence she mentions the extreme form of autism. Normal girls would not behave that way. Try to figure out why a certain girl got kicked out of her house ^^
>>
>>9123155
Go away Alice you big old drama cow. No one wants to have sex with you. Stop trying to boost your ego.
>>
>>9122623
Hi Jill, how does it feel to be used as a tool? Do you still think she has been truthful with you or do you maybe start to realise you've been played like a fiddle?
>>
>>9123139
I don't even know the girl. I simply can't stand people who try to avoid any and all consequences for their actions by using a mental condition as an excuse. And trust me, anyone who knows me IRL knows I won't hesitate to confront someone I have a beef with in their face. Backstabbing and trash talking can be fun, but directness actually gets you places. Just make sure to record shit when dealing with manipulating psychos...
>>
>>9123161
I just would like to point out the irony of your post. You are on CGL hate posting about another girl. You've got a hate crush for her at the very least. Your post is boosting her ego.
>>
>>9123163
I don't see her trying to avoid any consequences, though.. She seems to be taking the bull by the horns, if you will.
>>
>>9123130
>>9123139

>Talking bad and complaining about people's, who you don't know, behavior while being anonymous.

Don't people ever get the irony of this.

Besides, we all know she lurks here.
It surprises me she hasn't defended herself here yet. Silence before the storm I guess.
>>
>>9123174
Maybe it's just because I read the drama about this girl now and haven't heard of her before, but it seems like quite some people are obsessed about her and I don't see her showing up to defend herself.

Don't you think you all have already lost? The more attention you give her, the more you all are proving her right.
>>
This is beyond nasty. Backstabbing her like this on the internet. I guess some people just dont have a life. If you have a problem with her contact her. Instead of putting it all open on the internet. You All should be ashamed of yourself.
>>
You should all get help lol
>>
>>9123174
Nvm, Alice has already come.
>>
>>9123161
It's hilarious she thinks we'd believe someone is sexually attracted to her let alone two girls who both can do much better and neither of which are into transwomen.
>>
This topic tastes extra salty.
>>
>>9122562
The transgender community is a bunch of whino's. Compared to them, this Alice is by far more put together. Don't post blatant lies, we have never heard of her.
>>
>>9122623
>Alice you are being so emotionally manipulative.
>Because
>IDK
> I FEEL SO MANIPULATED
>>
>>9123185
It's more hilarious she still thinks she has people who whould defend her. Like we don't notice the same grammar, way of speaking, time frame etc.
>>
>>9123185
You are all clearly a collection of mentally unwell girls. You post on CGL because no one else cares or likes any of you. I would have sex with her on cam just to spite you.
>>
>>9123196
GRAMMAR HOLMES MAKES AN APPEARANCE shi
>>
>>9123179
>Don't you think you all have already lost?

Alice, you've lost from the moment you refused to get your shit together and got kicked out of the comm.
>>
>>9123199
We had this already
>>
>>9123155
Get lost and get psychological help. You clearly don't know how people work. People know each other, if you talk shit about them they will find out because you have been talking shit to their friends. People are not going to believe your outrageous claims over people they have known for years. We know most people involved and you are the first they have drama with, weird huh?
>>
>>9123199
what's the thought process behind posting this
what have you achieved
do you really feel better now
>>
>>9123199
Please do, I'm curious about how a transgender masturbates.
>>
>>9123199
Wouldn't that be considered masturbation, Alicu-chan? You're not fooling anyone.
>>
Wouldn't it be funny if everyone's ip adresses will be send to Alice right now?
>>
>>9123219
your post number is symmetric congratulations

also IP's are pretty worthless these days

Ip adress gives anyone with slight computer knowledge a home adress
>>
>>9123219

>>
>>9123223
the accuracy of that varies greatly, and static IP adresses are becoming less and less common

furthermore mobile posting makes it entirely moot
>>
How did it even come this far jesus christ o-o
>>
No is going to care about the IPs because disliking you is the most normal thing now. You are not a protected innocent angel, you are someone who started more fights in such a short period of time than anyone else has ever.
>>
>Alice
>>
>>9122446
>7 months

That's a pretty short time for the damage she has done. I've been in the comm for years and never encountered a rude lolita yet anyone she befriends is suddenly a secret fetishist bullying predator. Maybe she should realize she is the common denominator. in all this
>>
>>9123255
She is perhaps accusing only a few in that post. I don't get everyone from this. It would be helpful if we could hear her side of this story and not just the loud autistic scum, desperate for attention.
>>
Whoever gets posted on CGL automatically wins. Anonymous autistic trash posting here simply doesn't have any life of their own. Autistic trash is desperate. Autistic trash is jealous. Autistic trash needs a place to be cus no one else wants it. This place is CGL.
>>
