It depends on how it looks imo. I'm not a fan of parasols that are made out of lace/incorporate a lot of lace since it doesn't look that good most of the time. If it had fine, intricate details and looked high enough quality it would be fine. I just don't think that it would look that good in a lot of coords. I prefer the type of parasols that the brand put out just because I think they go better with lolita.

I agree that next time I'll be waiting until the photos are back from the shoot. I was just excited about how they turned out and wanted to share which was why I posted it a second time. Definitely not doing that again.
As for the flowers, it was a very last minute coordinate and I was trying to work with what I had available as my entire apartment was packed for my move. Not that anon, but I also always see posts where people say nice coords are boring because the wearer isn't ott, wearing a wig, doesn't have a million accessories hanging off of them, etc. I do see people praise simple coords as you've said, but I see people dismiss them more sadly.

OP's looks are my goal. Making Lolita look nice but not costumey or too dressy is always what I strive for outside of special events or big fancy meets. I'm trying to get more wear out of my dresses, and ott just isn't my style.

It's okay to see salt here, I can definitely handle it. It's refreshing to see people actually say constructive things to me, but much of this may just be agree to disagree. I like the series because it is tacky and disgraceful to current lolita, others may not, that's fine. I do wish more people would give me concrit if they thought there was something I could change, so if you have something to say then I invite you to say it publicly (or even here, I'll still read it), because there is nothing wrong with starting a constructive conversation. What other people respond to it, though, I have no control over.

I agree that my legs do look pretty fat, though. Concrit I got on the last coord was to wear white tights and white tights look like shit on me. They make my thighs look flat and wide, but I at least tried it. I tried something lacy and more lolita-esque in the putting-together stage, but it pushed it over the cheap-looking mark into Leg Avenue territory. However, I am wearing the shorts with the OP, and you can't see the bottom of them, so it wasn't that disgustingly short on me, just that my legs are much longer than what the designers probably would have planned for.

Thanks for that! I understand completely; the white tights were a flop on my part. I wore the black with some 3F patterned tights and it looked much less short/much more covered, so I'll certainly do that next time, I just have to find some that would match color-wise. I think the white made it appear much shorter than it actually is, since it sort of turned my legs into a stark block, so even opaque might have that same issue.
