I live in Florida. They drive like shit. I get cut off, tailgated, and passed at 90mph by truck drivers more than anybody else on the road. They have obnoxiously bright lights that are perfectly level with a car's back window (because fuck seeing, amirite), and they always leave their towing mirrors extended so you have to dodge them if you want to pass them.

Not to mention that they'll come to car meets and just fucking idle to the point where nobody can talk.

It was a really weird dream. I was with some members from my Arma group, and we were in some steampunky-plane thing, and we crashed into an old-timey bar/inn. Everyone was fairly unsurprised, and we just got out and ordered drinks. After that, I got a room in the inn, and when I went inside Mami was there. Her arm was missing, and for some reason I knew it got shot off. We started talking, sitting on our knees. She got real quiet and asked if I'd still love her if she had her arms, to which I cupped her cheek and told her I'd love her no matter what.

It was weird, but she was there, so it was a good dream. That picture is what prompted the dream -- That and this greentext I saw on Twitter, I think that's what prompted my response. I'd like to get better at lucid dreaming so I can be with her 'proper', but I never got the hang of it. I kinda wish I had someone to talk with about it.

afaik it's supposed to revolve around her since urobuchi/hinate gave her a criminally small amount of screen time in the original series.

I personally love that shit, and I still find that scene gutwrenching whenever I rewatch the series.

Creating a dullahan version of Mami also doesn't truly feel like a parody. I see it more like ghosts who appear bearing the wounds that killed them. That in and of itself isn't something that would generally be labelled as comedic.

I find it extremely disrespectful. The death and mental breakdown scenes are the most important, character-defining scenes for Mami and the fanbase treats those as a joke. All other girls had similar scenes but you don't see hilarious meems about them. In fact, in the "suffering scale" Homura, Kyouko and Sayaka they all rank high while Mami isn't even mentioned: she's treated like the laughing stock fo the series.

As a day one Mami fan those things used to bother me a lot but 6 years later you kinda of learn how to deal with it. I'm not as fanatic as this guy who has paintings of her in his living room but still I'm not in this situation where "I love that shit" parodies about a scene where my beloved one is being hanged by her neck while an eldritch abomination chews her face off.
