I used 35mm subs but that one is already cropped to 1920x1036, otherwise you can indeed crop your the black bars with ffmpeg/handbrake

When saving images from pixiv, make sure to save the full size version - if the filename has what I quoted, that means it's a lower quality version.
While it doesn't matter with your image, since it's smaller than 1200px in any dimension, just something to keep in mind when saving future Shoukos.
