Not even sure how you'd define "unusually cute" since tastes vary.
People say, upfront, what they're looking for when they initiate a thread.
Unless you violate 4Chan's rules (posting advertising, hate speech, or NSFW content on a board which doesn't permit that) the worst that can happen is that others won't respond and the thread will 404 because of inaction.
Other than that, skimming existing threads (or maybe looking at the archives) is the best way of seeing what's considered appropriate.

If you want a personal opinion, though I'm unfamiliar with Ys, everything you've posted looks good to me.

Yeah pretty much. Since cuteness varies from person to person you can really have a thread for any anime girl so long as you follow the rules set in the sticky. Try lurking around for a while just different types of threads or even go through the archive.
While /c/ isn't a discussion board threads can still have very loose/casual conversations so feel free to join into any thread, just give people a while to respond since /c/ is a slow board. I hope you decide to stay!

Also I don't know if you did this on purpose (or you got these pictures from someone else) but if you're saving pictures form pixiv gallery of more than one picture don't just right click and save (you get a smaller version of the picture and the file name should say "master" in it). There should be a small button to the left of picture to expand it then you can save it. The only time you'd want one of the smaller resolution versions is if the file size is way to large to post here.

I always relied on Pixiv Downloader for bulk downloads, but it stopped working with PaleMoon some time ago, and since then I've been a bit lost and saved things like this.

FYI OP, Pixiv files that end in master1200.jpg may not be the full size.
