We can't have that

I don't want to be a dick, but...
Most of these pics are pretty bad.

We need more Kyoani's Yui
Grown-up Yui a cute!
>>2567512
I love all her hairstyles
>>2567592
Even this one?
>>2567968
Yeah, even that one
>>2568235
something I drew for a /a/ request!
So, what music have the other Yui fans been listening to?

I flip back and forth between death metal and anime OSTs mainly. Thinking about making a gym playlist with HTT songs and themes from stuff like Lucky Star and Himouto. As one anon on /fit/ put it, when you're trying to crank out a PR there's nothing better than listening to girls singing happy-go-lucky bullshit in your ear.
With apologies to the band, of course.

Melodic death metal i hope!
Im listening go punk, metal and some Jazz.

>Melodic death metal i hope!
Stuff like Opeth, Be'Lakor, Woods of Ypres. Not strictly death metal but you know.
Also you broke the image reply streak m8.

Recently and surprisingly I've had a bit of a metalcore nostalgia trip. Hadn't listened to it much for ages, but it's nice to rediscover bands such as Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Atreyu and so on. Will see how long it lasts for; I tend to switch between different music moods all the time. Before this I had a long Post-Rock/"Crescendocore" period.

What's a nice entry artist for Jazz you'd recommend? I've totally overlooked jazz as a genre and it may be time to do something about it!
>>2569166
I know Opeth well, but Be'Lakor and WoY are completely new to me - gotta check them out!
Also, yes, 91 image streak broken. ;_;
>>2569188
Esbjörn Svensson Trio and Bill Evans Trio are pretty good to get into. I recommend "For gagarins point of view" is a nice E.S.T. song.
(Sorry, im lurking on my phone so I dont have any pictures...)

I got you anon

>Be'Lakor and WoY are completely new to me - gotta check them out!
I recommend 'Of Breath and Bone' and 'Woods 5: Grey Skies and Electric Light' respectively as introductions.

An old buddy of mine owns a hand-numbered copy of the first Woods of Ypres EP, and it's my favorite release from them by far. It sounds like pretty straight melodic black metal, but it's still recognizable as WoY.
Definitely check it out if you can get your hands on it.

Very jealous. I didn't discover them until like a week after David Gold died. Knowing what I know now that was literally the saddest death of a musician I can think of. He would have been huge.
On a lighter note, I picked out the into to Fude Pen Boru Pen as Azusa was teaching it to Yui in S1E10. That was neat.

Checked out Woods 5 today while I was out walking and got really into it! I dig the sound - it sort of gave me a feeling of a "melodic doom metal" sound overall.
Will check out the other posted stuff the coming days while I'm outside!

You learned the intro by ear? Nice! I've done that for the intros for that one, My Love is a Stapler and U&I - although they're not complicated, it's still a very nice feeling to work it out and hear it yourself, I think!

Who said metal can't be /c/ute?
One day I will find the real life version of Yui.
And I will hug her.
