I'm trying to have a dry day. 5pm so far... going ok.

A bottle of shitty vodka at the supermarket runs for 5$. That should last for 2-3 days I assume?

Brew your own. It's a fun hobby and can sell it under the table to your friends if it's any good. I distill moonshine in my garage. I only make about 10-15 gallons a year though, and only keep a gallon or 2 for myself, and sell the rest to friends and family members. Could run a profitable business if I knew anybody that would buy hundreds of gallons.

YouTube/Google and lots of trial and error. Took me years before I developed a recipe that tastes good. I add a little honey and brown sugar with cinnamon rather than apple cider.

Guess I should contribute now. I quit drinking ~a year and a half ago and subsequently was able to quit smoking as well. Since quitting drinking I moved into a nice 2 bedroom apartment that costs 3 times the old one, got a 30% raise at work just from finally showing some interest and coming in on time, bought a truck, built a nice stock portfolio and am still under budget every month. I would highly recommend it for at least a few years to move on up in the world.

for rich people it doesn't matter. there is only a finite amount you can drink untill you pass out... So even if you are an extreme drinker and spend let's say thousands per month on alcohol while having hundreds of millions on the bank it wouldn't matter.
