Japan is going its best way. Not getting kids in a overpopulated place the best they can do. Of course that means that one generation of old people is going to be kinda poor but in 100 years it is balanced again, especially because until then there won't be lots of jobs left due the automation/robotics. We, in Europe, gonna have the problem to feed billions of unemployed/low-educated people.
