Anyone here ever write a personal code of conduct and an outline to procedures to streamline your actions when something comes up? I want to write a fairly extensive one but I'm having trouble with formatting.
I will post qts with each response I reply to, if it's any incentive to answer my questions.

I have a set of around 600 guidelines distilled from various books, articles, and lectures. It's more general-purpose than business specifically though.

I'll just share the business and finance sections, since that's what the board's about.
Disclaimer: None of this consists of original/personal insight. Also, half the finance section included came from a Q&A by a VC that visited /biz/ a few months / year ago.

I try to review at least around 25 points daily (so I complete a cycle in a little under a month), and make a mental note of ones I deem immediately important.
I also try to think of similar/related rules for the sake of eliminating redundancies, and that helps retention a bit as well.

It's probably a disservice to offer a key points without full context and rationale and understanding. The real knowledge was in the reading, the points are just brief reminders of more comprehensive lessons conveyed.
These ten works (pictured), however entry level, form the vast majority of the points, and there's probably a lot more insight to be gained in them (and certainly elsewhere) that I may have overlooked or otherwise forgotten to take note of.
