>have $1350
>owe a bill that is $800
>owe another bill that is $1200
Which one should I pay first? I will be getting more money at a later date, so it doesn't really matter which bill I pay first, and I can pay these bills at any time.
Here is the kicker. The $1200 bill is in another persons name. But, that person has financial help if needed, where as I don't.
My bill is smaller, their bill is larger. If I pay my bill, I will have money left over. If I pay their bill, I will have no money, which would mean they would have to ask for more money from their source.
Which bill should I pay? If I pay their bill first, they will have to ask for more money. If I pay my bill first, we will have some extra money left over to get us through until we can pay their bill in a month.
Pay the bill in your name first obviously

Depends on if these bills have a late fee and if interest will buld up. Also depends on if they will effect your credit score. Considering that only bill is in your name that should be your priority.
