i'm sorry to inform you, you may need a replacement phone. If you're using android, bitcoin ticker widget is super good. Green logo, goes absolutely APESHIT when you set both the buzzer, TTS voice alert, the whole nine yards. It has saved me from many a margin call

In my experience it does go off but it's extremely long after the price breaks. I've set and forgotten about the alarm as the price moves up past the threshold. The alarm will go off 3 hours later.
