The product works, he is a talented coder, but I just feel dirty at the idea of buying it.

His big thing was he was paid to make scamcoins under pseudonymns and then he'd go and review them under his real name giving the code an A+, he was outed and calls it a smear job but the evidence is overwhelming. But after 3 years with so much new blood in the market few remember.
