k so on kraken I bought .02 btc at "market price"
which costed me 80.47 usd. so that means it sold me btc at 4023.25 USD/BTC
Where do I go to get my money back, since this was clearly an accidental overcharge? thanks

Contact support and show them the Order ID. They'll do something or maybe nothing (it's a gamble, like everything related to kraken).
i mean, the price of BTC at the time was about 3650. so that's only the difference of about 500$. it's not like it really matters right? that's only like a 15% overcharge, not a big deal in this game hey?
thats not really that big of a deal, most exchange sites overcharge more than that

yeah
buy bitcoin at 3500, charge you as if it costed 5000. when you try to sell at 5000, they sell as if it was 3500.
perfect logic
ahhh I might have figured it out
may just be that the displayed prices on kraken are simply wildly inaccurate from the real price. that's fair!
u idiot u paid the normie tax
if u want to buy at true price u buy on the exchange
the 'quick buy' options are always for normies who want a long-hodl
