Has anyone here ever resold items they've bought at police or estate auctions before? It doesn't seem like a sustainable business model but it could be an easy buck if you do it in a hobby like fashion
dumb
Well, I mean, why not, if the property is valuable and easily resold. OP pic's shitpile PCs is probably a bad buy, because who the fuck wants a bunch of old shitty desktops? No demand for them.

I flip homes, I am a tradesman in Australia.
I have brought two homes at Police Australian in Australia.
Lost money on one in Tasmania, made money on one in Victoria.
As long as you really understand what you are buying there can be profit there.
The house in Tasmania I purchased had been used as a grow house the extent of the damage I could not inspect before purchase so I took a punt and lost, as the refurbishment i had to do outweighed the profits after capital gains.

If youre in the US and live near a large airport they will usually have customs seizure auctions.
I've picked up a few things from them but most of the time the auction lots are maybe one or two cargo containers of product so if you have an abundance of space it can be profitable.
