No. You can send coins to bittrex, but not vice versa. So I usually do so, to save on fees. Done it dozens of times since the beginning of this year.

Trade for litecoins before you transfer. A lot cheaper and immensely faster

Weird. The one time I tried to send bitcoin from bittrex to coinbase, the transaction never confirmed. It was an abnormally long wait time, even for BTC, like 8 hours, so eventually I just canceled it and figured coinbase wouldn't allow it to go through.
