Will bitcoin ever return to being a deep web currency instead of jumping up and down randomly like this? What will it take to stop these wild fluctuations it has been experiencing for so long now?

I'm saying deep web currency because it actually had a unique purpose that couldn't be fulfilled by other things at that point.
