hey /biz/ i need some advice here. I want to get into real estate and own my first investment property. Their is a half double house that is going under foreclosure; sheriff sale. It's 5 bedroom and the previous owners owe like 40k on their mortgage.
Catch 22 is their is fire damage to the entire kitchen that is on ground level.
What would be you max bid for such a house? i am thinking of buying this house and repair it and rent it out. yay or nay? i would love any input
I'd say about tree fiddy

Sorry couldn't help myself. Honestly it's almost impossible to provide any advice without context. Wildly different amounts depending on country, state, etc, etc...Do some research on whatever real estate website is popular where you are.
