I'd rather get my hands greasy than covered in dirt, so I'd get a house within an hour of a major city that I can slap solar panels on and live mainly off the grid. If it's connected to city water that's ok, but well water would be ideal. Generator for power outages/storms (since batteries for solar power are rarely rated to keep you up and running for >24 hours), MAYBE get a propane tank to run a gas cook top if I can't find a suitable electric solution, and a fuckhuge garage with lift and space for my car collection which will be at least 10-20 of my favorite cars from the mid-1960s to present (not really a fan of anything older than 1960).
