How can one company fuck up so bad and only be down 14% in stock price?
I would have expected somewhere around 70-80% stock hit.
Is this more overblown news?
I really doubt the CEO's would risk jail time for insider trading over 14 fucking percent.
Someone explain this shit to me.

The insiders were expecting a bigger hit, and they still might get it.
There will be a shit ton of lawsuits from this. I myself might be a part of one. Their disregard for even the most basic of safety protocols is almost criminal in itself and might actually be.

Yeah. These bastards know and store everything about your financial history. The damage could be epic.
They've mitigated some of their risk in a very shitty way.
They put up a site where you can sign up to see if your information was compromised - but to get access to that information, you have to sign an arbitration cause.
That's quality customer service for ya! I'm sure they're banking on most people falling for it.
But really, if you're on top of your shit, you can nip this before it's even a problem, and sue them for the costs. Don't sign up on their site - it's not that desperate.

Actually it was Thursday.
14% in stock price?
It's only the beginning.
It's being held up by it's P/E. And Institutional investors aren't selling at a discount.
Their core business has remained unchanged.
This is just a data breach that will cost them lots of bad PR and some huge payout.
With time they will bounce right back
