I'm completely new to Bitcoin- where can I store my Bitcoin while having it easily accessible if I choose to trade it for altcoins? I've heard about hardware wallets but I currently can't afford any, paper wallets seem nice but there's the issue of convenience and accessibility (from what I understand they should be used for storage over a long amount of time), and I've also heard about mobile and desktop wallets. Desktop and mobile wallets seem nice but I'm mainly worried about security (especially for the mobile wallet).
just keep em stored in exchanges for max accessibility

What about the aspect of security anon? I mean- I do agree that there is a shit load of accessibility but I've read stories of many people losing all their bitcoin because the exchanges weren't secure enough. And what if an exchange like coinbase gets fucked over like Mt.Gox?
>storing bitcoin safely
>actively trading and gambling with it for shitcoins
pick one

poorfag here
I have 0.1 BTC on a paperwallet. so much comfier than worrying about your phone or computer breaking.
using mycelium on my phone I can easily send them.
I keep the coins I want to trade with on the exchange
I also have xmr and eth in a wallet on my pc with the backup keys written on paper
Give it to me, I will look after it
Just download Electrum

Ah so you keep the bitcoin you want to trade with on an exchange but keep your gains and a good amount of the rest of your bitcoin on a paper wallet and so on.
