I'm looking to build a 8 gpu mining rig to mine etherium and monero?
Surely there can't be this much money in mining monero am i doing something wrong?
>>3385705
you have your hashing power slightly high there buddy
>>3385705
Holy fuck OP, which 8 cards give you 200MH/s? I need to buy them too
>>3385725
but its says each gpu roughly has 25mhz on most guides online

Ahh, it's a troll
Nice attempt, 5/7
>>3385752
not a troll wanting to learn more, what is the average hash rate per gpu
>>3385705
Monero and Ethereum have different hashing algos, you fucking idiot.

mine does about 400 h/s

You were probably reading about Ethereum. Do note that it uses Ethash which is completely different algorithm from CryptoNight which Monero uses.
For card that gets around 25Mh/s on Ethash, you'll get approx 370h/s for CryptoNight.
So, when calculating for Monero, try putting in 3000 h/s (not MH/s)

How's that feeling of defeat once you actually put in the correct hashing power and power consumption+cost?
>>3385817
Still good, its still profitable and the price can still go up especilly when dark net markets accept it
>>3385705
That much hashrate is equal to 400000 graphics cards, good luck with acquiring those.

Does your electricity actually only cost 12 cents per kilowatt hour?
>>3385839
They will never accept it. Those days are over.
