Wisconsinite here. Basically in the process of doing exactly this.

Moving out of the city. Got a 3/2 trailer on .5 acre in a small <500 village (ie I have sewer and high speed internet). $60,000.

Currently in the process of doing some renovation while I list my city house. Will be able to pay off a big chunk after the sale, and hopefully the rest with my crypto gains.

I don't need to be fantastically wealthy. Just want to live "free" and enjoy my family.
