Should I buy Monero? Seems like it defineltey has the potential

If govts are cracking down on btc it will only be a matter of time for monero as its privacy aspects make it more suited for illegal deals.

As long as im not doing anything illegal I'm good though. I just buy some up and sell it later on. The reason I do cryptocurrency is because crime is huge and they need privacy to do their shit, therefore increasing their need for this stuff

I literally cannot think of a safer bet for gains in all of crypto. Can anyone give me any real reasons it will fail?
