So what the fuck is this trash? I decided to check out Ethereum the other day, downloaded the wallet, and it takes days and days before you can use it for anything? While taking up 50GB+ on your hard drive? Oh, and if you're not storing the blockchain on an SDD, it might never be fast enough to even catch up?

Who the fuck thinks this is a good idea?

I dunno man, I'm just using what they recommend. If there's some better, faster way of doing it, WHY DON'T THEY FUCKING TELL YOU UP FRONT. I don't want to google "why does ethereum take so goddamn long to sync" after two days and comb through help forums to find a solution that might make it faster (or might be an outdated "fix" that doesn't do jack shit).
