I was so gassed about buying to let since my girlfriend's uncle is some dopey prick and owns 17 properties and is really financially stable. The amount of tax money spent just regulating tax is asinine. Not to mention the amount of spending on things that many taxpayers don't even want.
If we could replace it with crowd funding, then controversial spending could be decided upon by the free market.
Obviously that's just a dream. One held back by a million factors. But I still hold a faint glimmer of hope.
