where does the value in the coins come from? do they bring some technology? what makes one coin more valuable than an other?

no shills, just want a discussion
>>
people are sick of fiat being inflated by jewish bankers to levels of insanity. coins get value from their mathematically guaranteed scarcity. BTC will never have more than 21 million made. period. NEO will never have more than 100 million in circulation. etc.

They bring value from the enormous transaction fees

19 years a go amazon had more debt than the total value of the company, yet people who invested back then now would have seen 10000% return, people who invest in crypto are hoping for these blockchain to become big profitable companies in the future, when ethereum sky rocketed from 16 to 250 it made not money whatsoever but it had an alliance with big companies who wanted to use the ETH blockchain in the future or saw potential, now ETH has innumerable shitcoins building companies on the ETH block chain such as Omisego or casinos like etheroll, edgeless, bitdice. These companies (mainly the casinos) already make profits of a few millions, but many of these companies could become billion dollar companies in the future, and that's why people invest in crypto now because if one of these companies takes off beyond speculation you will go to fucking Saturn with it.
Blockchain technology will eventually become part of our day to day life and will start seeing more and more applications and more and more business will start to use it.

how do i know which one is a winner? do they each provide something different?
>>
>>3319711
Alright, it's simple. Coins are valuable as long as people have trust and confidence in them. Does it seem stupid compared to someone being physical like gold? Yeah. But think about any fiat money we use today. It's nothing more then a piece of paper that is the physical representation of trust and confidence of the issuing country.

Things are only valuable if you can convince other people they are valuable.

Omisego is only on the eth blockchain temporaily until hey launch their own soon

Will crypto defeat the jews?

I don't know....I just don't know. But it's the only chance we got.

Cryptocurrencies are valuable because they're a way to send or store money online that doesn't require trust in a 3rd party like a bank. There's no special 3rd party who can "close the bank" and keep your funds or restrict who you can send it to.

Bitcoin is valuable because of network effects from its established userbase and well-tested conservative rate of change. Ethereum is valuable because of smart contracts which enable ... tons of tokens and services that can fill its own post. Zcash and Monero are valuable because they both achieve real anonymity through different mechanisms with different trade-offs.

Though there are a ton of altcoins that just copy Bitcoin to create a new currency but don't provide any innovation at all. These altcoins only exist for pump-and-dumps. If you want to day-trade like a madman, maybe you can ride some of those up, but don't go long holding in any of these. Their value only come from the people duped by the people pumping it for a short while.

Someone pumps BTC using millions of USD Tether to prevent it from dropping under its support line.

https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/6xpddt/as_20m_more_tether_are_issued_today_i_think_its/

Crypto is a fucking giant snowball, and they pump BTC using Tethers, which are not backed by fiat, to attract normies and their fiat to keep the snowball rolling and getting bigger.

value of a coin is whatever the mass majority agrees on. some coins actually bring innovative tech but the majority are just pump and dump flips to acquire more BTC/ETH/XRP.

we talk about this stuff all the time in the +1100 bitpam crypto discord because there are to many shills everywhere, been in it for a while and it's great

No, there is no way to defeat them. Investing in crypto will make you wealthy enough for you and your family to not be held down by the jews ever again however.

There's a webinar coming up on September 7th to address this exactly, look it up.

Broadly speaking they are valued on the probability that they will become real money in the future, and displace fiat and middle men
