So now that segwit has been activated on bitcoin mainnet what wallets are actually making use of it? I have wallets all over the place and none of them are giving me the ability to make a segwit transaction. Will it all be done behind the scenes sort of abstracted away from the UI? I don't really get it...

Also what's the average fee like on the bitcoin network now? Is it still high?

The fees dropped significantly over the last 2 weeks. I just don't quite understand why.
The fees are similar to what they were beginning of the year (in sat). Obviously the USD fees are higher as btc went up x5 since beginning of the year.
