Ok, segwit is activated now.
so you can install old bitcoin-core client
https://bitcoin.org/bin/insecure/bitcoin-core-0.9.1/
and see what last transactions exist only in new bitcoin client.
so time to get you bitcoin classic of 2014:

b-but segwit is backwards compatible, r-right?!
But Segwit transactions are already cheaper and will get cheaper over time.
>>3312760
It's a bit fucking hipsterly for me.
>>3312783
money? hipsterly?
-------------------------
als segwit2x will fork from bitcoin classic of 2014 but not from segwit
>>3312807
Segwit2x is silly when BTC has segwit and BCH exists.
>>3312943
wat?
>>3312956
Segwit says it should take care of tx fees and problems with the block size.
BCH says segwit is bullshit but they can take care of things by increasing the block size.
What is segwit2x for?
>>3313226
>What is segwit2x for?
for money
also 3 kaind of Bitcoin can serve 3x more transactions
>>3313226
It's a happy medium between both.

Sounds like cuckery
Which wallets have SegWit active now?
How do I use SegWit from my 14.2 node?
Do I need to move to a new wallet address?
-------------------------
to do this from bitcoin-cli is as follows:
bitcoin-cli getnewaddress (spits out something like 1xxxxxxxxx)
bitcoin-cli addwitnessaddress "1xxxxx" (spits out something like "3xxxxxxx")
You can now send coins to the output of the 2nd command (starts with a "3")

----------------------------------------------
So "SegWit" it special bitcoin with special adresses, it complety ignored by exchangers now
bitcoin on "SegWit" address not equal to bitcoin on Normal address
and will have different cost
