house boats are great for pickin up chicks baby. seriously you tell em you live in a boat and they will wanna come home with you to see it cuz it sounds so cool. trust me.

and no you cannot go to the ocean with it. they are only suitable for canals and rivers. Often they don't have any motors or nothing.. so in case it needs to be moved you need a tugboat..
