Hi /biz/, I may have fucked up. I had a large number of Waves on the WavesClient desktop app that I exchanged for USD recently. I just realized I cannot transfer this USD to my bank account because Waves says they do not do business with American banks. I see two possible routes I can take.
1. Find a friend who has a citizenship friendly with Waves. Transfer them the USD to one of their Europe banks, then they transfer from their Europe accounts to their American accounts, then back to me. Finding people with citizenships oversees is not a problem. This sounds like the optimal solution, albeit more work and trusting another party.
2. Buy BTC with the USD, transfer the BTC to an American friendly exchange, exchange for fiat, transfer to my bank account. I would rather avoid this because of the fees.
Any advice? Thanks, and God bless.
Buy back waves, and hodl. It's that simple
Buy back waves, send to exchange, exchange for btc and sell.
