Does browsing speed also slows to a crawl in the primetime in your country? I get no more than 10kbps around 8pm, and it's considered good. The only way to get around this is to pay double for the only isp which owns the fiber optic in the mediterranean.

If you were smart you would go some policy shaping, or run a voip payload VPN for the QOS markings in your headers to spoof them. This would let you abuse most queue systems CoS buffer priority and skip the line and not get pushed back.. Or just move somewhere else.
