I fucked up, /biz/. This was more than half of what I had, and all of my gains this month.
I'm just sitting here dumbfounded that I made such a simple mistake. My cat had jumped on my lap while I was working on setting up backups earlier this week and I accidentally shut off my PC, but I didn't realize the password was lost because my password manager's entry was still there. But it was blank, and I've been sending LTC to this address for the past week without checking if I could unlock it.
It's a 32-64 character azAZ09 password, so hashcat won't touch it. Bitcoin bruteforce scripts only do around 1000 passwords per second on 8 cores, so it'll never be recovered. My last hope is that I can find a deleted version of the wallet.dat before I passworded the wallet on the 18th, because I moved it into an encrypted drive. But I don't think it'll work. I will only be able to get the unencrypted seed, and I don't know if I can recover the private keys based on that.
I guess the only way to recover from this is team bean.
