Long term hold strategy - what's yours /biz/?
Currently my portfolio conists of 15+ different coins. It changes almost every day as I shift my bags from here to there. As a few interesting ICOs come this will intensify. However once this passes I intend to consolidate my portfolio. My plan is to lock my coins away and play the long game. By this I mean a 1 to 3 years wait. The rationale behind the coins I choose is the following:
1. Established coins with a low chance to go down but from whom I do not expect big gains (good if they happen)
2. Coins steming from platforms. The more stuff is built on them the more demand for the coins will rise.
3. Privacy oriented altcoins. Very cheap now, big chance of mooning later.
4. Coins which yield a return. Self explanatory.
In that regard these are my picks:
1. BTC
2. ETH
3. XRP
4. QTUM
5. NEO
6. SHIFT
7. OMG
8. SONM
9. IOC
10. XSPEC
11. XVG
Anything to add? Also should I concentrate the portfolio in fewer coins?

Could you expain why you think privacy coins will moon?
Its public knowledge that privacy in all shapes and forms, especially online is dead.
Facebook, google, NSA etc etc.
I don't see anyone caring about it? No public outrage or action?
What your thoughts?
50% Cash
10% Long/Corporate Bonds
10% covered call on GLD
10% covered call on broad market
20% small cap stocks
I'm waiting for a pullback in 2018

Well my bet is that since all this kyc bullshit and the authorities stepping up the game is pressing the crypto community, some of them will try to migrate into these coins. I am not say that this will work but I am trying to predict how people will behave. Monero is already established and why I chose these one is because their price and market caps are not big. I see opportunity there.

Your absolutely wrong. If banks want to adopt crypto currency its important the amounts traded and by who is a secret. Thats why they work on their own coins with privacy build in. And Microsoft released a privacy framework for ETH.
Its absolutely critical.
