Not trying to FUD but will quantum computation render the "cryptography" behind crypto obselete?

NEO is going to be quantum proof

I guess this is true since vaporware is quantum proof afterall.
No/Maybe
Because it's actually very hard to build one, and much harder for the average joe to get his hands on one. Crypto is safe for at least 10 years. By that time, most coins on the market will be quantum resistant. We already have a few that already are.
Quantum is a good 8 years away, minimum.
I plan to sell before then, 5 years at most. Normies will be buying around the time Quantum becomes popular and get rekt.
We start using quantumcryptocurrency.

This
We're sitll in the start of this crypto bubble, and until Quantum tech and software becomes readily available and the software is easy enough to develop that normies can use it, there's no reason for it to have an impact on crypto. If anything it'll increase coins that are optimized for being used on both computational systems

I like how cyberpunk terms are becoming reality in my lifetime

It's easy as fuck to make Bitcoin quantum-proof. It will need a hard-fork, but because literally everyone will agree on doing it, it will be a non-contentious one and will be agreed on immediately by all parties.
When quantum computing on that scale is actually possible we will probably have way bigger problems
what is post quantum cryptography
