since we all know that sooner or later we have to expect a 50% crash of btc again
im interested in your exit strategies. especially if your exchange does not support fiat Pairings
>usdt
i think if price goes down alot and many people want usdt, chances that those want to redeem their usdt are high. since tether does not have to redeem the usdt i think this might result in usdt crashing too. so thats not an option for me
>eth
atm ist the best idea i think. even when it positively correlates with btc most of the time i think eth at one time will be self sustaining and therefore be a hedge for btc
>xmr
would my second choice after eth allthough ist so ridiculously high atm that its also not really an option. maybe if it corrects before btc does i will think about it.
>ltc
many people say ltc is a btc hedge. is it really tho?
>bch
i really have no idea. might be worth. but cant judge at all
opinions? i think this is really important since we somehow need to save the gains we made
last resort ofc would be to withdraw and back off into fiat
I was close to exiting during the last dump. I half executed my plan too
>Sold everything to BTC on exchange
>Traded BTC to LTC
>Sent LTC to coinbase
So close to cashing out
nubits on bittrex
its like usdt, but actually backed by realy money
shhhhh delete this thread

If BTC fucks up, everything goes down with it. This will be like this for another few years probably.
Just put your shitcoin gains 50/50 into BTC and ETH and hodl through the dips. If you have made enough money then start withdrawing a portion into fiat

Why would you sell low? If any, in times like now you sell.
I bought in big end of July
>>3279730
also just short whatever alt pumped the hardest using polo, last dump i made fat gains shorting eth for a few weeks
>>3279748
I was still net +20% or so and wanted to not take a loss. Thought it would all keep dropping and I'd buy back in at a cheaper rate.
>>3279761
hmm mabe i just buy all eth and then short eth at the same time.
100% hedge - fees right?
>>3279839
same amount of eth, but your dollar value drops with btc.
>>3279850
ahh shit true
i knew it was flawed
>>3279689
i'm 40% fiat, 40% eth, and 20% btc and altcoins.
how would that allocation work for you? it's how my portfolio has been since i sold my btc @ 2800 (doh!)
i figure if prices rise i can buy in with more fiat, but i'm really waiting for a crash to see if i can get some killer bargains.
i missed my chance before, because i was too chickenshit, but i could have rebought btc at $1800.
>>3280070
you will be waiting for a month or two imo
I'll just piss and moan and hodl my way through it as always
>>3279689
>since we all know that sooner or later we have to expect a 50% crash of btc again
lol no
>>3280077
probably. what would you do with that 40% fiat in the meantime?
>>3280104
buying good ico's is a hedge, it was last crash as well
see dnt, tnt, some others.

thx
