I've been on the lookout for a pool since I missed out on the one on here the yesterday and found these on etherscan by searching for similar contracts:
https://etherscan.io/address/0xbd10c70e94aca5c0b9eb434a62f2d8444ec0649d#code
https://etherscan.io/address/0x2880f03f181ee0967a00bac5346574f58f91b615#code
https://etherscan.io/address/0x8b168e46281e72d410717b27a6ca97bf9f301173#code

Based on the internal transactions there, it seems the two first have already sent the funds raised, but the last one has yet to do so and seems to have a 700 ETH cap. Am I understanding this correctly?

There is no minimum.

Contract for these link funds can be found here: https://etherscan.io/address/0x2880f03f181ee0967a00bac5346574f58f91b615#code

Not sure how to get contract for this specific fund. :( If someone else does, please comment.

Its a shared pool. LINK tokens are distributed evenly among those sending ether to the address as per the contract they setup.

Can see some investing 1-5 ether which is fine.
>>
>>3251739
It's not a scam, you can check the link and this is the easier way to guarantee you will get in before it sells out plus you get 20% bonus in pre-sale.

>>3251744
Yeah there is no minimum for every contributor but the pool itself has a minimum that's why the brackets go 100-500, 500-2000 etc...
You must contribute at least 500 ETH to this one to be valid if we're to trust you or the guy that said this one is up to 1500 ETH.

Ok so nobody knows how big it is because everyone gives a different answer.
I feel like people do this on purpose to screw with others by:
>not contributing the minimum thus making the pool invalid
>contributing too much so that those who sent above the limit will get refunded

There is no 1000-5000 slot, see pic related

>>
>>3252540
>There is no 1000-5000 slot, see pic related
Hm that's strange, maybe it was a typo and he meant 100-500. Anyway I think the minimum for it to be valid is always 100 even if you're in the 2k bracket, I've seen other people having a limit of either 300 or 500.
No way to tell really what's the limit just from a presale link.

Devs are avoiding questions pointing out that the entire pre-sale + crowdsale cap has most likely been reached, given the length of the presale and all the pooling that has occurred, yet they will also still go ahead with the crowdsale.

It seems they are going to raise the cap significantly, or even take the money and run.
>>
>>3252562
>No way to tell really what's the limit just from a presale link.
Exactly, which is why this is all risky until I see the original email + link to presale.

>I think the minimum for it to be valid is always 100 even if you're in the 2k bracket
This would make no sense, higher brackets have priorities. Then everyone would just select "2000 ETH or More" and send just 100 ETH.
Doesn't work that way, you have to do the minimum for every bracket or else you get refunded, they've said this on slack.

>>
>>3252641
You can also just contribute directly to that presale address instead of the pool. But then if the pool sends its 700 eth they will get fucked over lol.
That's why I think it's pretty stupid of them to list the code publicly.
>>
how many tokens do you get for 100eth? website says 1750 for first week of crowdsale but no mention of presale
>>
>>3250814
Seems like the biggest risk here is that the contract will be invalidated for pooling or not hit the cap and our eth will get held up in some kind of lengthy refund process.
>>
>>3252687
Yeah those were my intentions, send directly to the pool.
I just used the contract to read the details, pool owner was smart enough to specify the minimum and maximum so I think I'll go with this one.

>>
Ok faggots let's clear something up. I posted the link in the other thread.

I signed up for the presale and requested the highest minimum allocation since people were saying the 100 eth min presales were done. This one said 1000 minimum required with a 5000 max cap in the email
>>
soo.. 600 more eths required?
>>
>>3252843
just invest what you can afford to lose.

Also would not recommend putting all your eggs in 1 basket. I am splitting my investment across 3 promising ico's. 2/3rds of my investment is going into chainlink with the link I posted because pre sale has a good bonus and this is a particularly strong one.

I also missed out on the last ICO I was interested in because it sold out extremely fast.
>>
The SSL certificate for this link was registered 3 days ago, but the cert for the main domain was registered around the start of July, they are also issued by different issuing authorities and have different public keys (main domain is 256bit , this one is 2048bit RSA)

Not only that, but the SSL certificate for the presale link is obtained from Let's Encrypt https://letsencrypt.org/repository/ which offers free SSL certificates, whereas the SSL for the main domain is obtained from Comodo https://www.comodo.com/about/comodo-agreements.php

it doesn't make a difference to me if you pooled or not. I posted the link since I had multiple presale sign ups.
>>
>>3252988
Sorry, my main concern is that the link for the presale has obtained an SSL certificate (which is meant to ensure authenticity) from a free SSL certificate provider, which is different to the https://smartcontract.com/link SSL certificate provided by a different, non-free provider
>>
>>3252954
Ayo that's slightly creepy. They need a new cert for a new subdomain (unless they had a wildcard cert) but it's still strange that they'd use two different providers.
>>
>>3253049
It does make a difference if you're almost 600 ETH short.

>>3253063
SSL certificates across different presale links are the same. It should be ok.
>>
>>3253063
If that's the case then everyone going through the presale right now is getting scammed.

seems legit enough, so I ended up sending some to the contract. seems like it's the same one as the ones that reddit were using earlier, which has ways to refund if anything goes wrong

also, I think you guys are reading way too much into the SSL stuff. the certificate on the main site is served by cloudflare, so it's likely that the presale service running on the subdomain is just running directly from their servers instead of putting it behind cloudflare, which means they need a cert to allow SSL and let's encrypt is a natural choice since it's free and recognized by all major browsers.

>>
Guy's, as someone who has been following this shit show closely for a few days, here is my take

The slack channel has been open for a few weeks now. Sergey has even posted a picture of himself holding a piece of paper with the current block number. This isn't Enigma 2.0 because the devs would have found out about it a long time ago, this shady behavior has been going on for a week now.

Sergey is a well known guy in the blockchain community. Obviously they aren't going to take the money and run because his name is attached.

What I think is that they did a piss poor job of calculating market cap, how many presale applications to accept, and all that sort of stuff. They are providing no answers because they backed themselves into a corner and are probably going to piss a lot of people off when the actual numbers are revealed.
>>
>>3255086

Is OPs link good or what?Whats the limit? Is it contract or just a wallet? I am so confused pls just give me a straight answer
>>
if it's on the official website, you are good to send there.

I don't know what the cap for that pool is. If you are over the cap for the pool you will fuck up the whole thing for yourself and likely everyone else.
>>
>>3255086
>that they did a piss poor job of calculating market cap, how many presale applications to accept, and all that sort of stuff. They are providing no answers because they backed themselves into a corner

This. It's obvious from their evasion. Better that they tell us the bad news now.
>>
>>3255224
I don't really get why the cap is such a huge deal. We know they are selling 350,000,000 LINK in the presale + crowdsale, and we know there will be 1B total LINK in circulation. Changing the cap upwards doesn't really affect much given those 2 constraints
>>
>>3255304
People assumed 350m link in circulation, $32m market cap & 10-20x+ gains. That's why there is an uproar. They want gains like OmiseGO.
>>
The rumor on slack is that going over the limit on the presale link jeopardizes everybody who contributed - it may tie up their eth. Can anyone definitively confirm the limit for OP's link to make sure we don't blast past it?
>>
>>3255513
Someone said yesterday that those who contributed up to the limit should be good, the rest will be refunded.

>Can anyone definitively confirm the limit
That's what I've been waiting for all day, good luck with that. Everyone is just sending their ETH and hoping for the best.
>>
>>3255513
>Can anyone definitively confirm the limit for OP's link to make sure we don't blast past it?
Unless the devs look it up in their database and tell you, there's literally no way check the limit of a presale link. At best, the owner could screenshot the mail or something, but that's easily faked and doesn't prove anything.
>>
>You've currently sent 726.9861294557254 ETH and have 1744766.710693741 LINK.
