If you are truly looking for a discussion.
The reason I believe a large majority of people work for minimum wage paycheck to paycheck is because of their self-indictment.
Many people see themselves as inadequate as it has been projected through generations by advertisements, behavioral monotony. The educational system is most to be blamed.
Children are torn from their family at a young age and kept in an environment surrounded by none other than those who have experienced no more than themselves, and a "Teacher" which regurgitates what he or she learned in the same infrastructure secluding the children.
This creates nothing more than a constant cycle. This cycle can be even more detrimental if those who cannot endure it need to find other ways by bullying. Everyone had a bully or was a bully.
Regardless in a psychological sense inadequacy is born in the early stages of life, and ultimately advertisements thrive in this environment.

I never said that people were not able of accomplishing goals. Yes that is very well possible.
I am speaking of the large majority of people who are being paid minimum wage / under 15 dollars an hour at the very least.
This is a large majority of people that continually sell their life for the pay they receive an hour.
Look at the wealth inequality that is rampant not just in the U.S. but the world itself.
Inequality, competition and diversity is what creates markets.
OP is probably good looking or has exceptional social skills/chrisma.
