Idea
Get a bunch of old shitty worthless hard drives and wipe them completely, or yank them out of e waste. Write "BTC" in sharpie and sell them one by one on craigslist for $40 each and say you're "getting rid of your tenant's old stuff".
I was looking for another way to scam nocoiners. Thanks Anon

You don't even need a company, you can just put up another ad on craigslist offering e-waste pickup services. And then after you scan the hard drive for any traces of a wallet, just write BTC on it and sell it for $40.

>craigslist
you would have to meet the person you're scamming, better to do it online.
Take a nice high res shot of a bunch of hds and say you're selling them all and make the btc one not be front and center

It's not necessarily a scam though. They're buying it because it *might* contain millions of dollars in BTC. You're not exactly telling them that. It's just a hard drive. "not tested, don't know if it works, want it gone" It's more believable if you're selling it on CL.
bonus points
>install malicious software that will find and transmit their wallet files when the hdd is installed

That's actually really fucking easy to do. You can actually configure syslinux to boot a tiny kernel completely silent and not show dmesg or a terminal. Meanwhile it's actually mounting the other hard drives and uploading a bunch of shit.
Jesus fucking christ this is genius. It's theft, and it's a shitty thing to do, but it's genius.
