Newfag here. Been lurking on /biz/ for a while, and it seems to me that these are the main two principles (correct me if I'm wrong):
> 1. If you want long-term gains, buy and hold BTC or ETH.
>2. If you want quick gains, trade shitcoins.
Now what's still unclear to me is the thing about shitcoins. How do you decide which shitcoin is worth buying?

Buy high sell low thats the principle here do it and you'll may get on the lambo train
>>3141563
Always buy green. Green means good
Always sell red . Red means bad. It means the coin is crashing. Better sell than keep
>>3141563
You guess. Just see if something new appears, if it looks professional then it will 100% rise at least x2.
>>3141602
How do you define 'professional'? For example, what's so good about Lisk, which is +76% now, and what' so bad about 0x (-15.75%)?

Its the hype that the crypto generates if its hyped on reddit twitter etc it will surely rise if it only has 1-2 shillers on biz stay away i think thats how it works i am a newfag too
>>3141734
Once it's hyped it's usually too late, newfag.
>>3141791
If its not hyped the crypto will may never raise at all
>>3141791
What's the best source of news about new cryptos? Also, what's the best place to trade cryptos? Bittrex?

Nice logo, nice website, experienced team. Hype will be enough to have the price rise 2x.

you actually catch on really fast for a newfag, nice work.
choosing a shitcoin is difficult. I usually try to go for the unique ones that look promising, but those will always be a slow burn, which could be good or bad because you'll make money slower but also lose money slower.
then there's the true shitcoins, which are basically created solely for the PnD, like the DGBs, SIGTs, and MOONs that move 300% in only a few hours, but that can be either up or down.
you'll need to to balance the risk vs. reward.
for example I put $5k into MNE and cashed out $8k, and made $3k on a slow burn. I put $1k into SIGT and cashed out $4k, so I made $3k on a fast burn. one of my best moves though was GNT where I made $10k off $400, that was a real slow burn though.
I would have never have risked $5k on SIGT, but the people who did would have made tens of thousands. so it's all about the risk you are comfortable with.
