Reminder that monero does not need to be valued high to function as a means of obfuscating transactions. It could be valued at 50 cents and still perform as intended.
Somewhere along the line people forgot that value isn't relevant for certain coins. If I want to use monero, I'll buy some, send them to someone, and they trade it for their currency of choice immediately.

You could have said the exact same thing about Bitcoin.
It is also useful to hold value in obscurity (in Monero), it's not simply for processing transactions.
What you're saying is essentially correct, though.

you should shut the fuck up. you have no idea what you're talking about. fungibility will never be possible in bitcoin, but it is the -basis- of how monero functions.

He's not talking about anonymity, fuccboi. He means that the ratio of fiat/crypto value isn't important if all you're considering is the coin's ability to function as a currency. Desirability of any coin for this purpose, as well as speculation about the coin, will inevitably drive the price of the coin up or down as time goes on though.

>what is supply/demand
Can I hide crypto gains with it?
In theory yes, problem is it will clash with speculative holders. As demand increase to trade more coins will be needed for all these people to make said transactions.
However hodlers will not let go for a small prize. So price goes up.
