A bachelor's in economics is pretty much useless in the real world. It teaches you concepts but it's hard to get a job after graduation.
If you want a useful business major I would recommend Accounting or Finance (if you go to a top 100 school) . I've seen a lot of fellow marketing, business administration , and economic majors doing bull shit sales jobs after graduation.
