1. That's been publicly known for ages. All the litewallet development was done AFTER all the funds were gone. If anything, that's a good sign.
2. Well of course, the funds are considered gone. Perhaps it was a scam at the time. That doesn't change the fact that the project has been revived by people who have been making steady progress for a while now. It's your typical open source project now where people contribute for free, not a project driven by a company or anything.
