There are eth markets for most coins on bittrex now, you don't even need to convert back to btc.

Google it.

Go to wallets page on bittrex and find your eth wallet, click the plus button, copy the address and go back to coinbase, paste address and send.

Note that if it's not more than .1 eth they won't credit to you.

wallets, eth wallet, + sign, copy the address carefully revise it.. transfer the eth to that address... wait for the confirmations... check it on balances.

trading, go to eth markets, below the bitcoin markets, and chose whatever you want..

if you want eth/btc... it is on the bitcoin markets btc/eth-... kind of obvious, but maybe it helps.

place an order and check the prices... be sure you are putting numbers that make sense.
do not sell your ethers for nothing.
